I really hope one day you see me and think, “Ah, I really fucked up on that one.” I hope for a day, it tears you apart. I hope you miss the way I wrote you little pick-me-ups, and the way I made you cookies for your birthday. I hope you regret it with every ounce of your being.

And then I hope you let it go. Like I did.

And then I hope you are happy.
